Was away for 2 weeks and come back and there was an issue that scrambled the pages. It turned out it was Jetpack Boost. It took me a few hours to turn on and off plugins until I discovered which one it was but now everything seems to be working ok.
Added a few more coins. So far there isn’t any (zero) traffic to the website. No comments on anything. No coin contributions.
I have not shared it out either. I want to build more useful content.
I am not a advanced coin of stamp collector. I have a small collection of both. I have interest but not the financial means to invest in collecting. I am about to start putting up items from my collection alongside the impressive ones I can’t afford. My hope is that others contribute to the conversation and collection.
I applied to jobs at both Heritage and Leu Numismatik. The Leu Numismatik job was a remote cataloguer position. The position at Heritage turned out to be an onsite position (it was advertised as remote) so that didn’t work out. Leu Numismatik never bothered to answer me in regards to my application.
I will be posting videos in the YouTube section as a build out the channel. Perhaps that will get people interested in collecting. Stamps are not so popular anymore. The videos I make for stamps will be for a younger audience. The coins will be varied. Sometimes story based and sometimes targeted for collectors.
As an aside, my other YouTube channel was called “The most schizophrenic channel on the interwebs…” which made me happy.
I am fighting the idea that you have to have a niche. Imagine waking up everyday eating the same thing, doing the same thing, watching the same tv show. It would get boring. My channel is all over the place which is the antithesis of boring. It is what life is about…. variety. I love the comment. The commenter went on to say “.. and it’s great.”
